Originally composed to introduce children to the orchestra, Sergei Prokofiev’s Peter and the Wolf has delighted audiences for generations.
Peter, a young scout, meets a host of charming creatures whilst exploring the great outdoors. He pays little attention to his grandfather, who warns that the wilderness is dangerous. When a wolf appears, Peter must overcome his fears and save his animal friends.
Combining dance and puppetry, The School of Philadelphia Ballet’s Peter and the Wolf is an ideal ballet for first-time theatre goers and audiences of all ages.
