Meet Jason
Hometown: Columbia, Maryland
Jason started dancing at age 5. In 2019, he joined the Rock School for Dance Education under Bo and Stephanie Spassoff. Two years later, he began training at the Sarasota Cuban Ballet School with Ariel Serrano. He entered the World Ballet Competition, receiving a bronze medal and the choreography award. In 2022, he joined the Margaret Barbieri Conservatory Trainee Program at Sarasota Ballet School , led by director Christopher Hird. Jason joined the YAGP International Contemporary Ensemble, performing works choreographed by Ohad Naharin and Sharon Eyal. He attended the 2023 YAGP finals, where he received his offer to join Philadelphia Ballet II. Jason joined Philadelphia Ballet II during the 2023-2024 season.
