Calling all dancers ages 3-8! Our Children’s Program in Bala Cynwyd introduces students to dance and ballet through movement, music, games, props, and fun. Dancers learn in an organized group setting while exploring the use of their imagination. Each lesson is a positive experience aimed to instill a sense of self-confidence and self-worth. Students will progress through essential components throughout the year including gross motor skills, spatial awareness, musicality, and body awareness.

CREATIVE MOVEMENT

Ages 3-4
Saturdays, 9:00 AM – 9:45 AM
Tuition: $125 per session

This class introduces young children to ballet-inspired movement in a nurturing and fun environment. We aim to make their first dance experience enjoyable and positive. Students will develop gross motor skills through engaging activities that incorporate a variety of music, props, and imaginative play.

CREATIVE MOVEMENT BALLET-TAP

Ages 5-6
Saturdays, 10:00 AM – 10:45 AM
Tuition: $125 per session

Dancers explore movement and rhythm, focusing on exercises that create and maintain a steady beat. This class is designed to be fun and engaging, while laying the foundation for rhythm, coordination, and dance technique. Children will be introduced to class structure, format, and etiquette: listening, ability to follow directions, and taking turns.

FOUNDATIONS BALLET

Ages 7-8
Saturdays, 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Tuition: $150 per session

Foundations Ballet classes offer an exciting introduction to ballet technique. Students will start developing fine motor skills and learning ballet vocabulary. The classes emphasize imagination, balance, body alignment, and spatial awareness. Key areas of focus include building strength, expanding vocabulary, practicing classroom etiquette, and enhancing flexibility and alignment.
