New in 2026, School of Philadelphia Ballet’s Pas de Deux Intensive is designed for intermediate and advanced dancers who want to expand their technical skills and gain valuable experience in the unique art of classical partnering. Through focused instruction, dancers will develop strength, coordination, and confidence, while exploring the essential elements of pas de deux work.

The Pas de Deux Intensive is designed for intermediate and advanced dancers with strong ballet technique. Pointe work is required for female dancers. Professional dancers are welcome.

Throughout the week, dancers will:

  • Learn the fundamentals of partnering, including balance, timing, and trust.
  • Explore classical repertoire, applying skills in excerpts from well-known ballets.
  • Build strength, coordination, and confidence through specialized conditioning.
  • Benefit from individualized coaching in a supportive, class environment.

Select students may be invited to attend the School of Philadelphia Ballet’s year-round program.
