Company Experience with Angel Corella

The highly popular Company Experience with Angel Corella provides an intensive, immersive week of advanced ballet training led by Philadelphia Ballet’s Artistic Director, Angel Corella. Each morning, students engage in advanced ballet technique classes with Mr. Corella, followed by enriching sessions dedicated to learning choreography from the Philadelphia Ballet repertoire. The program culminates in an exciting public performance showcasing the students’ hard work and progress. Select students may also receive invitations to join the School of Philadelphia Ballet’s Pre-Professional Program, Trainee Program, or Philadelphia Ballet II for the following year.

REGISTER TO AUDITION

Students only need to audition once to be considered for the Summer Intensive Program, Summer Intensive / New Jersey, Classical Variations Intensive, and Company Experience with Angel Corella.

Current SPB Students: Current School of Philadelphia Ballet students can register without audition. Information will be available in December 2024.

ANGEL CORELLA

Artistic Director, Philadelphia Ballet

Angel Corella is regarded as one of the finest dancers of his generation. His talent, passion, and technique have brought him worldwide acclaim and established him as one of the most recognizable names in dance. Angel was appointed artistic director of Philadelphia Ballet, formerly Pennsylvania Ballet, beginning with our 2014/2015 season.

DAVIT KARAPETYAN

Director of School of Philadelphia Ballet & Philadelphia Ballet II

Davit is an acclaimed performer and dance educator, and was appointed Director of School of Philadelphia Ballet beginning with our 2022/2023 season. He previously served as Co-Artistic Director of the Pennsylvania Ballet Academy for five years, preceded by over a decade as a principal dancer with San Francisco Ballet.

LAURA BOWMAN GOLDSTEIN

Rehearsal Director, Faculty

Laura Bowman Goldstein began dancing at the age of 3, in Raleigh, NC. She trained at The Raleigh School of Ballet, studying primarily under Ann Vorus, Mary LeGere, and Susan Carlin Galdy; supplementing her instruction with summer intensives at Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre School and Houston Ballet School. She completed her final year of training with a full scholarship at the Rock School for Dance Education.

Program Schedule

Approximately thirty (30) hours of instruction.

CE Residence Program Move-in: Sunday, August 3, 2025*
Program Begins: Monday, August 4, 2025
Program Ends: Saturday, August 9, 2025
CE Residence Program Move-out: Saturday, August 9, 2025

*Students attending consecutive programs are not required to move-out between programs. Learn more about our Summer Residence Program here.

Tuition Information

One-Time Registration Fee: $80*
Program Tuition: $950

*Dancers attending more than one summer program need only pay one (1) Registration Fee.

Scholarships are not available for the Company Experience with Angel Corella.
