Hometown: Westerville, Ohio
Liv is from Columbus, Ohio, and began dancing at the age of 3 and continued to further her technique in jazz, contemporary, hip-hop, acro, and modern styles. Attending yearly conventions she then became more interested in ballet after participating in ABT’s summer intensive in 2018. Developing a new passion for ballet at 14 years old through BalletMet, she had the opportunity to perform alongside the professional company dancers in The Nutcracker, Edwaard Liang’s Tributary, and Swan Lake. She was fortunate enough to have received a scholarship for all four years of training at BalletMet, two of the years being a trainee. She had the opportunity of performing in Balanchine’s Western Symphony set by Nilas Martins and Walpurgisnacht set by Rebecca Meztger while as a trainee with BalletMet. Also throughout her training, Liv has had the pleasure of working with notable names including Maria Torija, Wes Chapman, Christina Johnson, Alfred Dove, and Tiit Helimets from which she has gained new experiences and learning insight. Liv joined Philadelphia Ballet II during the 2023-2024 season.
