ADAPTIVE CLASSES FOR CHILDREN WITH DOWN SYNDROME

Philadelphia Ballet offers weekly classes for children and teenagers ages 8-16 with Down Syndrome at Artists in Motion in Cherry Hill, NJ. These unique classes, were designed to help fill a void in a region lacking access to adaptive programs for youth with Down Syndrome.

ADAPTIVE CLASSES FOR ASSOCIATED SERVICES FOR THE BLIND

Philadelphia Ballet ballet classes at the Associated Services for the Blind & Visually Impaired once a week from September through April, as well as trips to the ballet with audio-description provided. Watch WHYY’s segment on this program here.

ONLINE ADAPTIVE CLASSES FOR COVID-19

Classes may not be in session due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but our adaptive classes students are still learning, thanks to Valerie Amiss, adaptive class instructor and faculty at School of Philadelphia Ballet! See her video lessons below.
