In 1996, Philadelphia Ballet (formerly Pennsylvania Ballet) launched its award-winning Community Education and Public Programs. In the 2023/24 season these programs served over 13,000 people across our region with a variety of activities, 90% of which are offered free of charge. Through school based, in-theater programming, public art installation and performance, Philadelphia Ballet provides rich access to dance creating a connection to the arts.

Philadelphia Ballet’s Community Education and Public Programming collaborates with schools and organizations across the city, providing access to dance for young people and adults, creating a connection to the arts as well as developing new skills through a variety of opportunities.
