Spend your summer at School of Philadelphia Ballet / New Jersey! Summer Intensive / New Jersey (SINJ) offers serious-minded ballet students high-caliber ballet instruction, including classical ballet technique, pointe work, variations, repertoire, flamenco, contemporary, character, dance history, and body conditioning/pilates. Offered in weeklong increments, this program is perfect for the dancer looking for an intensive ballet program.
For students ages 12-21, School of Philadelphia Ballet New Jersey’s summer training experience is designed to provide dedicated dancers with the opportunity to enhance their skills, deepen their understanding of ballet technique, and refine their artistic expression. Select students may be invited to attend the School of Philadelphia Ballet/New Jersey’s year-round program.

Approximately 22-25 hours of instruction per week. Classes Monday-Friday.

One-Time Registration Fee: $80.00
Tuition: $600.00/Week
Payment Schedules
Payment for the Summer Intensive / New Jersey is due in full upon registration. Families can register for subsequent weeks at any time until May 1, 2026, or when capacity is reached.
School of Philadelphia Ballet is committed to working with families to support their child’s dance education. Alternative payment plans may be available. To connect about payment options, contact the School Office at [email protected]. All Summer Program fees are due in full by May 1, 2026.
Refund Policy
Registered students who need to withdraw due to injury must submit a letter of explanation from a licensed physician. At that time, School of Philadelphia Ballet will consider refunds towards tuition fees only. All other fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. Should a student withdraw without recommendation from a licensed physician, all paid fees will be forfeited to SPB. School of Philadelphia Ballet is not liable or obligated in any way to process refunds or issue any tuition credits. Refunds or tuition credits will not be given for classes missed due to illness, injury, vacation, or weather.
Students auditioning for the Summer Intensive / New Jersey (SINJ) may be eligible to receive a partial or full merit scholarship towards their program tuition. There is no application process to be considered for a merit scholarship, and all students will be considered at the time of audition. Students will be notified if they have received a merit scholarship within their acceptance email. All scholarships are non-transferable and cannot be deferred to future programs. Financial aid is not available for our summer programs.
Scholarships must be redeemed within two (2) weeks of receipt to be applied towards our programs. Accepted scholarships will be applied equally across tuition payments.
