School of Philadelphia Ballet’s Summer Youth Program (SYP) is designed to offer young dancers, ages 7-11, an enriching experience focused on establishing a strong classical ballet foundation. Through focused and structured training, students will strengthen their technique and expand their ballet vocabulary. This program serves as a critical stepping stone for young dancers pursuing serious classical dance training, providing a supportive environment for growth and development.

3-4 hours of instruction per day, between 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Tuition Information

One-Time Registration Fee: $80
2-Week Program Tuition: $1,200
4-Week Program Tuition: $2,200

Current Students: Current School of Philadelphia Ballet students are eligible for a special SPB discount! Families will be contacted via email in December 2024 with instructions to redeem.

Registration opens on January 1, 2025!

Scholarships are not available for the Summer Youth Program.

Payment Schedules

Families have the option of paying their fees in full or in three (3) equal installments. Select your payment schedule when registering for the program.

Paying in Full:
Payments in full can be made by credit card or check. Families paying in full by March 1, 2025, receive a 5% discount on tuition payments.

Paying in Installments:
Upon Registration: One-Time Registration Fee, Health & Wellness Fee; 1st Tuition Installment; 1st Housing Fee (as applicable)
March 15, 2025: 2nd Tuition Installment; 2nd Housing Installment (as applicable)
April 15, 2025: 3rd Tuition Installment; 3rd Housing Installment (as applicable)

Refund Policy

Registered students who need to withdraw due to injury must submit a letter of explanation from a licensed physician. At that time, School of Philadelphia Ballet will consider refunds towards tuition fees only. All other fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. Should a student withdraw without recommendation from a licensed physician, all paid fees will be forfeited to SPB. School of Philadelphia Ballet is not liable or obligated in any way to process refunds or issue any tuition credits. Refunds or tuition credits will not be given for classes missed due to illness, injury, vacation, or weather.
