Join us for School of Philadelphia Ballet’s annual Spring Showcase, featuring students from the School of Philadelphia Ballet and School of Philadelphia Ballet / New Jersey. Dancers in Levels 1-Philadelphia Ballet II will take the stage at the Philadelphia Film Society Center in two dynamic programs that highlight the breadth of their training and artistry.
The Saturday evening performance will open with students in Levels 1-PBII performing a selection of classical repertoire. The program will conclude with selections from Don Quixote performed by School of Philadelphia Ballet’s Pre-Professional and second company dancers.
The Sunday performance will feature students in Levels 3-PBII presenting vibrant contemporary, character, and flamenco works that showcase our dancers’ versatility and stylistic range. The performance will conclude with selections from Don Quixote.
For those interested in an additional opportunity to experience the performance process, a limited number of tickets are available for the Saturday afternoon dress rehearsal, which will follow the same program as the Sunday performance.
