School of Philadelphia Ballet’s Children’s Program introduces young dancers to the joy of movement and the foundations of ballet through music, games, props, and imaginative play. In a supportive group setting, students develop confidence and creativity while building essential skills such as gross motor coordination, spatial awareness, musicality, and body awareness. Each class is designed to be a positive and engaging experience, fostering a sense of self-worth and enthusiasm for learning.
Children’s Spring Showcase
The year culminates in a special Children’s Program Showcase, where students have the opportunity to share what they’ve learned with family and friends. Participation in the showcase is mandatory. The Children’s Showcase participation fee includes additional rehearsal time, performance costumes, and a commemorative T-shirt.
