SCHOOL YEAR AUDITIONS
Auditions are not required for the school’s Children’s Program (ages 3 to 7 years). As well, this program is not part of the graded curriculum at the School of Philadelphia Ballet, therefore, Children’s Program students seeking admission to the Student Program will need to be reevaluated by our faculty (in lieu of an audition) at the end of the school year in order to determine if they are ready for advancement.
New students interested in auditioning for the Student or Professional Programs are encourage to audition in person. Please be aware that Philadelphia Ballet requires that all who enter the building are fully vaccinated and up to date on booster doses when eligible. Dancers who are unable to attend in-person auditions are welcome to submit a video audition with the understanding that the requirement must be met in order to begin classes. Please note, at this time the School of Philadelphia Ballet does not issue student visas.
To ensure the health and safety of our students, their families, employees, and members of our community, the School of Philadelphia Ballet will require that all students be fully vaccinated with the primary series and up to date on vaccine booster dose(s).
