Join us on Thursday, May 28 and Saturday, May 30, 2026 as we return to Board Chairman David F. Hoffman’s beautiful property in Villanova for our 7th Annual Spring Festival at Red Rose Farm, featuring outdoor performances by Philadelphia Ballet and School of Philadelphia Ballet.

The event will be hosted over two evenings, consisting of a Benefit Event on Thursday, May 28 featuring a cocktail reception, the presentation of the Anthony Haller Volunteer of the Year Award, and performances featuring Philadelphia Ballet and School of Philadelphia Ballet, followed by a dinner with the artists in the poolside garden. All funds raised from the Festival support the Ballet’s work on stage and in the community.

On Saturday, May 30, at the Picnic Event, guests are encouraged to bring friends, their own picnic, favorite wine, and a blanket to enjoy an evening of outdoor performances on the lawn.

The 2026 Red Rose Farm performance will include a program created by Artistic Director Angel Corella featuring some of the most breathtaking pas de deux in the classical and neoclassical ballet repertoire. Details to be announced!

2026 Anthony Haller Volunteer of the Year

At the performance on Thursday, May 28, we will honor Dale Sherman with the 5th
annual Anthony Haller Volunteer of the Year Award.

Dale began volunteering as a chaperone with Philadelphia Ballet in 2005, and stepped into the role of Head Chaperone the following year. As Head Chaperone, Dale supervises all students in productions involving young dancers and provides guidance and leadership to our parent chaperones. She has also performed in supernumerary and walk-on roles in dozens of Philadelphia Ballet productions, often while supervising young dancers on stage. Dale is a former professional dancer, with a career that included performances on Broadway, with Russian Ballet Theatre, and with many other companies. She is a member of SAG-AFTRA and Actors’ Equity. Her daughter, Halle, started as a student at Pennsylvania Ballet (now Philadelphia Ballet) in 2005, and became a member of our second company PBII in the 2016-17 season. Halle now dances professionally with Huntsville Ballet.

For over two decades, Dale has guided countless young dancers through backstage experiences, giving generously of her time and expertise to lead students and volunteers and provide crucial support to Philadelphia Ballet staff for The Nutcracker and School performances. She truly cares about every child and parent, always striving to create a positive and enriching experience. She is often seen doing students’ hair and offering warm, steady support backstage. Dale has been beloved by our students and families for over 20 years, and it is our great pleasure to present her with the Anthony Haller Volunteer of the Year Award in recognition of her extraordinary contributions.
