The Cultural Alliance of Greater Philadelphia, Art-Reach, and Philadelphia Ballet present a very special screening of the documentary film,“I AM.” The film follows the journey of six students from St. Katherine’s Special Education School as they collaborate with eight dancers from Philadelphia Ballet’s Second Company to create an original performance piece called “I AM.” You can watch the trailer of the powerful film on the “I AM” website.
Following the film, there will be a discussion about the importance of inclusion and accessibility within the arts, featuring Jessica Kilpatrick, the project’s choreographer, and Sarah Cooper, the Philadelphia Ballet’s Director of Community Engagement.
