A Conversation with the Five Pioneering Black Ballerinas

Philadelphia Ballet hosts Dance Theater of Harlem stars and members of the 152nd St. Black Ballet Legacy: Marcia Sells, Sheila Rohan, Gayle McKinney-Griffith, Karlya Shelton-Benjamin, and Lydia Abarca-Mitchell as they come together to fill the gap in representation, share their story, and encourage the next generation of artistic excellence in dance while reclaiming their role in dance history. Join us for an electric evening of art, culture and community.

For your health and safety, please be aware that ALL attendees must be fully vaccinated, and masks are required in all Drexel buildings, regardless of vaccination status. All panel attendees must complete a Visitor Health Checker Pass prior to coming on campus. The Health Checker Pass must be completed the day of the event.
