Meet Jorge
Hometown: Madrid, Spain
Jorge Garcia Alonso began his dance training at age four. When he was 6, he went to Madrid Dance Center Academy in his hometown, Madrid, where he began his ballet studies under the direction of Ivan Barreto. Jorge started to increase the number of classes each year, until he obtained a scholarship at age twelve and started to be part of the professional program of Madrid Dance Center, where danced many classical repertoires. In 2022 he attended The Royal Ballet School’s summer intensive, and he was offered a scholarship to Corella Academy’s Summer Intensive, under the direction of Carmen Corella.
