Meet Isaac
Hometown: Fort Wayne, Indiana
Isaac Hollis received his dance training from the Fort Wayne Ballet. He began his professional career with the Sarasota Ballet, where he spent two seasons performing ballets such as Frederick Ashton’s Rhapsody and George Balanchine’s Theme and Variations. Isaac joined Philadelphia Ballet in 2020 as an Apprentice, was promoted to Corps de Ballet and then to Demi Soloist in 2022, and promoted to Soloist in 2024. Some of Isaac’s favorite roles with Philadelphia Ballet include Ali in Le Corsaire, Benno in Swan Lake, Bluebird in The Sleeping Beauty, Escamillo in Carmen, and Puck in The Dream. Isaac has also loved performing contemporary and neoclassical works with the company, including Hans Van Manen’s Grosse Fuge, Stanton Welch AM‘s Clear, and Angel Corella’s Boléro.
