Born in Miami, Florida, Gavin began his journey for dance at the age of 15. He started his training at the prestigious Miami City Ballet School, where he immersed himself in the Balanchine technique. Gavin then furthered his training at the renowned San Francisco Ballet School. There, he honed his technical skills and developed a deep understanding of the intricacies of classical ballet. His commitment to excellence and continuous growth led him to seek further training at United Ballet Theatre, under the tutelage of acclaimed dancer and instructor Joseph Gatti.
Gavin’s professional career took flight when he joined the esteemed Teatrul de Ballet Sibiu in Romania. This marked a significant milestone in his journey, as he embraced the challenges and opportunities that came with performing in a different cultural setting. Gavin’s repertoire includes La Fille mal Gardée, the Nutcracker, Sleeping Beauty, Don Quixote, Sarabande and Sechs Tänze by Jiří Kylián, and many others. Looking ahead, Gavin aspires to continue expanding his artistic horizons and exploring new avenues in ballet.
