Ava DiEmedio began her ballet training at the School of Philadelphia Ballet when she was six years old. She eventually joined the trainee program. As a Trainee, Ava performed with the company in Who Cares?, Symphony in C, Stars and Stripes, George Balanchine’s The Nutcracker®, Angel Corella’s The Sleeping Beauty, and Angel Corella’s Swan Lake. Ava attended summer programs with Boston Ballet, Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet, The Art of Classical Ballet, United Ballet Theater, and School of Philadelphia Ballet.. Ava competed in the 2023 Youth America Grand Prix Philadelphia, placing third in the women’s senior classical category. Ava joined Philadelphia Ballet II during the 2023-2024 season.
