School of Philadelphia Ballet holds annual auditions for the following school year beginning in February. The fee to attend a live audition is $50.00.

2026 AUDITION TOUR

Dancers who are unable to attend a live audition are invited to apply by video. Video auditions are accepted on a rolling basis.

Classical Division Video Audition Guidelines:
Video auditions should be a maximum of 15 minutes in length. Applicants should begin their video with a short introduction including their name, age, birthdate, and current training facility. The video audition should include the following:

Contemporary Division Video Audition Guidelines:
Dancers must submit a contemporary video in addition to their ballet video if they would like to be considered for the Pre-Professional Contemporary Division.

• One Contemporary Solo or Phrase – 2 Minutes Maximum
• Uninterrupted Improvisation – 2 Minutes Maximum

*Studio Footage Preferred to Stage Footage

How to Register for a Video Audition:

1. Complete the JackRabbit registration form linked below. Once your submission has been received, payment will be manually processed by the School Office.
2. After payment has been processed, you will receive the Summer Audition Information Form via email to submit your audition video and provide additional details about your dance experience.
3. Video audition applicants will be notified of their audition results via email within two (2) weeks of submission. Video auditions are reviewed on a rolling basis.

Dancers ages 7+ are invited to schedule an in-class audition for acceptance to our School Year programs. In-class auditions are scheduled during existing class times. The fee to schedule an in-class audition is $50.00. Registration fees are payable by credit card/debit card only; cash payments are not accepted.

How to Schedule an In-Class Audition:

1. Complete the JackRabbit In-Class Audition Registration Form at the link below.
2. Once your submission has been received, a member of the School Office will connect with you to learn more about your student’s dance experience and availability.
3. Once your in-class audition date has been confirmed, payment will be manually processed by the School Office.
4. In the days leading up to your in-class audition, check your email for class times and arrival instructions.

SCHEDULE AN IN-CLASS AUDITION
