School of Philadelphia Ballet seeks dancers with a strong classical and contemporary ballet background to audition for Philadelphia Ballet II, Philadelphia Ballet’s second company. Learn more and register at the links below. Auditions will be adjudicated by Philadelphia Ballet Artistic Director Angel Corella, School Director Davit Karapetyan, and PBII Director Eddy Tovar.
School of Philadelphia Ballet holds annual, live auditions at the company’s studios in Philadelphia. Registration is confirmed on a first-come, first-serve basis; advanced registration is required. Applicants may also be considered for School of Philadelphia Ballet’s Trainee Program.
Dancers who are unable to attend a live audition are invited to audition for Philadelphia Ballet II by video. Video auditions are accepted on a rolling basis. Applicants who audition by video may be requested to attend an in-person class prior to acceptance into the program.
Video Audition Guidelines:
Video auditions should be a maximum of 15 minutes in length. Applicants should begin their video with a short introduction including their name, age, birthdate, and current training facility. The video audition should include the following:

When will I be notified after my audition?
Dancers attending a live audition will be notified within (2) weeks. Video audition applicants will be notified on a rolling basis.
Do you accept applications from international dancers?
Dancers must be authorized to work in the U.S. to participate in the program. School of Philadelphia Ballet is unable to sponsor visas at this time.
