Audition Required
Level 8A is a year-long bridge program between Level 8 and the Trainee Program. Students selected for Level 8A have demonstrated a high level of technical achievement, artistic development, and dedication to their ballet training. As full-time students, they are expected to approach an intensive training schedule with discipline, consistency, and a professional work ethic.
The curriculum is designed to refine technical skills, strengthen artistry, and encourage greater confidence, musicality, and performance quality. Classes include Ballet Technique, Pointe, Men’s Classes, Variations, Pas de Deux, Repertoire, Contemporary, Flamenco, Body Conditioning, and Music.
Through this focused year of advanced study, Level 8A students continue to build the technical proficiency, artistic maturity, and professional habits necessary for a successful transition into the Trainee Program.
Audition for the Pre-Professional Program
Admission to the Pre-Professional Program is by audition only. In-person auditions are held annually, and video submissions are accepted on a rolling basis. Learn more and register for an audition at the link below.
