CANCELLED: Panel Discussion and Reception: The Glorification of Death, Murder & Suicide in the Arts

This members-only lecture series offers a scholarly discussion about dance with members of Philadelphia Ballet’s artistic staff and cultural leaders from the Philadelphia area. This season’s panel will feature a discussion on death, murder and suicide and how these topics frequent stories across the arts, specifically in ballet, opera and theater. Serving on the panel is our own Principal Dancer Ian Hussey, Catharine Slusar, Assistant Professor of Theater at Bryn Mawr College and Michael Bolton, Vice President of Community Initiatives at Opera Philadelphia, and Maud McInerney Professor of Comparative Literature has agreed to be our moderator.
