Meet Ben
Ben Holton began his dance training at the Raleigh School of Ballet. He performed a variety of roles with the school’s affiliated performance company, Raleigh Dance Theatre. To further his training, he attended summer programs at Carolina Ballet, American Ballet Theatre, San Francisco Ballet, and the Royal Ballet School. In 2023, he was recognized as the outstanding male soloist at Regional Dance America Southeast. Ben was a summer student with School of Philadelphia Ballet in 2022 and returned as a trainee for the 2025-26 season. As a trainee, he performed in Ronald Hynd’s The Merry Widow and George Balanchine’s The Nutcracker. In 2026, Ben placed first in the pas de deux category and second in the senior classical category at the Philadelphia regional YAGP. Ben is excited to join Philadelphia Ballet II for the 2026/27 season.
