Meet Rowan
Rowan Lindamood is a native of Belfast, New York and a graduate of Neglia Ballet in Buffalo where he studied for ten years under mentorship of Sergio Neglia and Heidi Halt. He earned full merit scholarships to Houston Ballet Academy for the summer and year and the American Ballet Theatre JKO School on a short stay. He then joined the Grainger Academy of the Joffrey Ballet as a studio company member for their 2024/25 and 2025/26 season.
Rowan has distinguished himself on the international competition circuit. He was selected as a candidate for the 2024 Prix de Lausanne and the 2023 USAIBC, and is a multi-year YAGP Finalist, having secured 1st place in Senior Men’s Classical at the Toronto Semi-Finals.
His professional repertoire includes roles in Christopher Wheeldon’s Alice in Wonderland, Liam Scarlett’s Carmen, and Annabelle Lopez Ochoa’s Broken Wings performed by The Joffrey Ballet. As a Studio Company member, he performed the Principal Pas de Deux in For Mr. Ramsay Lewis at the Ravinia Festival and was featured in Gerald Arpino’s Reflections and Bournonville’s Napoli.
