Company dancers of Philadelphia Ballet are taking over! Join us for an exciting weeklong intensive sure to challenge, motivate, and inspire. This program features a full day of classes, including a half-hour of private instruction on a variation daily from one of our Company Dancers. Each day starts at 9:00am with technique class, followed by pointe, men’s class, contemporary, and stretch and strengthen. The last class ends at 4:30pm, and the last coaching session concludes at 5:00pm. (This schedule is tentative depending on enrollment.) On the final day of the program we will hold an in-studio showcase, where students will perform the variation they received coaching on throughout the week. Only 36 spots available!
Auditions are open to all male and female students ages 13-21. All students ages 13-21 that are unable to attend an audition on our tour may submit a video audition by using the video submission link found on our audition date list. Select students from the Summer Intensive may be invited to attend School of Philadelphia Ballet’s full-year Professional Program.
Applicants will receive result notification via email within one week of their audition. Video audition notifications will begin in February. Once accepted into the Summer Intensive, all students must register within two weeks of their notification date. This program is first come first served! When full capacity is reached, the remaining students will be placed on a wait list. Please be sure to register and submit your deposit on time in order to ensure your spot in the program.
Current students of School of Philadelphia Ballet are not required to audition. Current students enrolling will have priority if registered by January 22, 2020.
