Scholarships & Financial Aid
At School of Philadelphia Ballet, we are committed to fostering talent, diversity, and accessibility within our student body, as reflected through our scholarship program. We are proud to offer scholarships designed to support students who demonstrate exceptional talent or financial need, ensuring that opportunities for artistic growth are accessible to all. While scholarship offerings are limited, we strive to assist as many students as possible who meet our criteria.
Scholarship recipients are expected to maintain a high standard of professionalism, attendance, and commitment to their training throughout the award period. Scholarships are non-transferable and valid only for the term specified at the time of award notification. Continued eligibility for scholarship support is contingent on excellent attendance and adhering to the School’s code of conduct.
While scholarship awards help to offset tuition costs, they may not cover all associated expenses, such as performance fees, health and wellness fees, and housing.
Merit Scholarships
Merit scholarships at School of Philadelphia Ballet are awarded to dancers who exhibit outstanding talent, technical ability, and artistic potential. These scholarships are intended to recognize and support students who have demonstrated a high level of technical achievement and dedication to their training.
Merit scholarships are available for both School Year and Summer programming. Scholarships for new students are awarded based on performance in audition. Merit scholarships for returning students are considered during the year-end evaluation period.
