Join us as founding members of the Dance Theater of Harlem, now of the 152nd Street Black Ballet Legacy Lydia Abarca Mitchell, Sheila Rohan, Gayle McKinney- Griffith, Karlya Shelton Benjamin and Marcia Lynn Sells come together to fill the gap in representation, share their story and encourage the next generation of artistic excellence in dance, while reclaiming their role in dance history.
This evening will also honor leading members of the Black dance community including members of Pennsylvania Ballet’s Black alum.
